Čtvrtek, Říjen 22nd, 2009

American scientists have found a unique spider which eats vegetable nectar instead of a fly flies. It was named Bagheera Kipling after Kipling’s panther in The Jungle Book. The vegetable nectar comes from an acacia which live in symbiosis with ants. In 2001 the spider eats ate this vegetable nectar and 10% of ant larvae. Six years later the spider eats ate only vegetable nectar. When the spider wants to eat it comes to the acacia and waits for reduction of passing ants and then plucks off a leaf and returns turns away from ants. Because the spider doesn’t hunt, it doesn’t need a web for hunting, but uses it for taking care of its children offspring.

The present for my birthday was delivered to me this Wednesday. I was very delighted that it all (from ordering in from the USA to delivering delivery to my post office) takes took only one week and cost no taxes was tax free. So I unpacked the parcel, checked it, took a lot of pictures and published them on my R/C forums and then wrapped it into nice wrapping paper. Now I have to wait until Saturday when we will celebrate my birthday and I will get this present. I will be very surprised, of course. And because I also bought a tool kit (as a present from my wife) I will be able to begin assemble assembling my Venom Creeper crawler without delay. But I will need yet another five packages because this kit is only a chassis without electronics.

Venom Creeper crawler

Čtvrtek, Srpen 27th, 2009

I had to choose a present for my birthday. I thought a long time ago about another type of off-road R/C car. I wanted an R/C car with an electric motor, because it is very silent (in comparison with my nitro monster truck). I was deciding between car for crawling or for trial. Crawlers have better permeabilityperformance in difficult terrain but looks awfully. Trial cars have worse permeabilityperformance but it isthey are scale models so they looks famously great. It is close to the facts more realistic with a lot of details like bumper stickers, a winch on cowls the hoods, a spare tire on body tails the back and a shovels and a fire-extinguisher on grids the roofs. I had been deciding thinking about it three days when I chose the crawler Venom Creeper crawler in red modification trim. I ordered it on eBay yesterday morning and it was shipped yesterday afternoon. So now I have to wait for couple of weeks.

This is the first time I am writing doing my homework at home and not in my office. A short while ago I watched the Czech cChampionship in downhill on mountain bikes biking in Pec pod Sněžkou in Krkonoše. The best most interesting thing was not views of bikers cyclists but it was information about the next World cChampionship in Canada, so the bikers who won must quickly apply for visas in Austria and thereby lost time needed for training. Crappy Canada!

Then keepers of dog dog’s owners turned to a visionary psychic for help. The visionary psychic adviced them to go to a forest, one kilometer far away, where they found their dog. The dog was absolutely in good order shape, only dirty and hungry. It was delirious with delight, like crazy.
